https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/grizedale/ Daughters applied there as the reputation is the more social college, although it would be down to the type of people in the flat I suppose.

Other links https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/county/
https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/bowland/.. just change the ending on the websit link for the others

Hi anon,
This changes every year depending on the cohort. No college is better for any students studying a subject as you'll be with a mix of students studying different things, and your lectures will be spread out over campus.
In general, opting for standard accommodation or townhouses means you'll mostly like be with sociable students, so opts for colleges with this accommodation. Fylde is considered the 'sporty' college, but again, this can change every year and you'll be able to participate in lots of sport regardless.
Hope this was useful and let me know if you have any questions.

hi, current Lancaster student. I'm gonna be a bit bias and say that the best college for sociable things is Grizedale, as they're known for being the most social out of all unis. That being said, I have friends in other colleges and they're just as social as Grizedale. Fylde is known for being the 'sporty' college as they also have their bar which hosts sporting events on TV. But overall, I'd just say socialise as much as you can, and don't worry too much about what college you're in
