How long is normal to spend on one hobby in a week?
When does it become a borderline addiction or a bit excessive?
How high of a priority should a hobby be in your life?

I guess it being an addiction is less of a strict time-based thing and more whether it inhibits your ability to do other things.

If you have 1 hour with which to do schoolwork and you can't stop playing videogames or thinking about them, it's getting into obsession territory.

If you have a day off from work, as long as you are getting enough exercise, social interactions, etc, it shouldn't be a problem to play videogames for a few hours.

Liking something is not inherently bad.
