Lack of a vocabulary perhaps, habit- actually (four letter word) if I know any other reason.

I can respect people who can swear well, with creativity and imagination. But people who sit in public places loudly grunting [email protected] this and [email protected] that after practically every ****ing syllable in their banal ****ing conversations can go and **** off and die.

Sometimes, their family members or whoever they live with swear a lot. It becomes a habit.

I don't see the issue with adults swearing though, as long as they don't do it in inappropriate settings. Also, if you are going to swear, make sure you get creative. Some people only know "f*ck" and it's like, bruh, can you at least try?

Well, I don't swear in places where there's an expectation of decorum E.G. in professional settings or around kids etc. but otherwise for myself it's because that's just how people speak and spoke casually where I come from

I swear because it’s an expression of anger, frustration or passion about something. It doesn’t show a lack of vocabulary as some anti-swearing folks suggest, it actually compliments the rest of the speech. A well placed F bomb serves as a modifier that increases the intensity and gravitas of a sentence beyond the level it would carry otherwise.

if one were to literally think about the derivation of it each time...it would be quite a scenario

I don’t swear much, but when I do it’s usually in a conversation with friends, it’s more of a way of expressing myself, usually anger at a situation or when something bad has happened

Well
I swear a lot, I have been to school and college, I am going to university, I come from a middle class background, and I’m capable of holding a conversation (but not a very good one haha)
