What's your thoughts on this? If this was said 3 weeks ago I feel like there would be a massive backlash but there certainly has been a major shift of views for the BLM organisation which makes this less controversial.

Why would anyone ‘bully’ him? We already know his stance on BLM.

So Johnson 'doesnt believe in gestures'? We'll remember that next time he says 'I would like to pay tribute to... such and such', which he does all the time. We'll remember that he doesn't believe in gestures, and is therefore 'paying tribute' disingenuously.

I support his decision here, but some of his reasoning is b*llocks

""I don't believe in gestures — I believe in substance,"" Mate, did you forget about the whole Clap for Carers malarkey?

Didn't he clap for the NHS? 👀

By the way, I counted. Less than 20 people were at the meeting as regarding increasing the funding and wages for the NHS. Less than 20.

Couldn't you count Corbyn? Or do former leaders not count?

Corbyn definitely had his flaws but was so much more influential to young people than Boris

As a young person, Corbyn was one of the people who shifted my political views in the opposite direction.
