How much do I need per week to live?

I'm going to live in self-catered accommodation and I wanted to know on average, how much do you need per week to live (I'm considering whether I need to get a job)
I'm also not planning on living in London so i'm assuming that reduces the cost of living
Thank you

No-one can give a figure because you know what you need to do to live! Depending on what's provided you'll need to cover these (not exhaustive), though some will be initial one-off costs if you don't already have items:

Accommodation charges
Contents insurance
TV and licence? Stereo?
Broadband
Phone
Food
Toiletries
Cleaning and laundry products
Clothes
Socialising (including travel, food, drinks) and holidays
Daily travel and visits to friends and family (including car insurance, fuel, tax, servicing, MOT if applicable)
Any additional furniture or appliances like kettle, toaster, microwave
Bedding, towels, tea cloths
Crockery, cutlery, cookware, kitchen storage
Birthdays and Christmas

At least £10,000, go out and find a career.
Well l think you would need at least £10 a day over a 7 day week = £70 a week to be on the safe side it depends what kind of food you like to eat and what kind of life style you enjoy weather you cook at home or like to eat out a lot or not it will vary from week to week l dont know if you are going to have to pay for gas/electric etc why not talk with friends and see what there living costs are there might be bus/train fares /taxis you need to factor everything in l think you can do it on £3000 a year
