I’m a student who is going to take the autumn exams however I also want to medicine and I’m not sure on how that is going to work seeing as the applications for medicine close in October and the exams also take place in October which means the grades are going to come out in January

Have a look at the medicine undergraduate 2021 entry thread, as there might be people there in a similar situation: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/sho...post&t=6101390

Ideally, speak to your school and to the med schools (if you can’t find info on their website): some med schools don’t look at predicted grades anyway, and you might be able to just apply with grades predicted for the autumn exams, and then update your application when you receive your results (just what seems immediately sensible to me, not certain knowledge). It’s complicated and I don’t think this has been really thought through, so I’d imagine you will need to start contacting schools individually.
