After the shameful remarks of the Prime Minister about club cricket and his U turn, I thought I would imagine that the current cabinet were playing cricket, and how it might turn out.

UK Cabinet- innings

1. M. Hancock bowled 0 (aimed and missed, out of his depth)
2. R. Sunak not out 5 (the length of the furlough scheme)
3. D. Raab lbw 1 (number of UK friends abroad)
4. O. Dowden caught 0 (the areas of sport and culture he understands)
5. P. Patel run out 2 (number of people fined for breaking quarantine)
6. B. Johnson (capt) caught 0 (number of times he told the truth)
7. M.Spencer (wkt) caught 0 (number of times the Chief whip is seen)
8. R. Jenrick bowled 2 (number of times broken lockdown or planning rules)
9. A.Sharma bowled 0 (number of times he looked comfortable at the daily press conferences)
10. G.Williamson bowled 0 (number of parents confident at his return to school plans)
11. M. Gove bowled 0 (number of times he was not rude to someone at a press conference)
Extras- 0 (number of black people in the cabinet)

Total 10 (as in Downing Street)

Umpires- L Hoyle (Speaker) and B Hale (lead justice of the Supreme Court)

Opposition bowlers- K Starmer, I Blackford, L Saville-Roberts, C Lucas.
