They all got a message telling them to buy the blue book. I should be getting royalties, tbh.

I generally don't mind if it's someone I've already been conversing with (like someone on the work experience thread) or someone who has genuinely made an effort in the message, so I feel that they are actually interested in what I have to say. They're worth spending the time on, imo, as I was there and remember sending out a couple of similar PMs (still do, tbh ) and I actually wouldn't mind helping them.

What I do object to is the generic type "u r strong candid8, giv me tips" that have blatantly been sent to a lot of people. They get ignored or told to go and do remedial english.
