hiii (another anxious student here)

A Level
English Language, Psychology + Sociology
FIRM: University of Manchester (ABB)
INSURANCE: Keele University (BBB/ABC)
(both for psychology)

I was predicted AAA, think in an exam I’d realistically get AAB/ABB. Want to say I’m confident I’ll at least get in my insurance but if they’re basing our results off of our centres previous attainment then I don’t have much faith since 25% of last years a levels at my college were a D or below...

Some of the points from this article about IB will apply to A-Levels this year. The IB results have definitely caused more worry among A-Level students.

Nottingham now has two annual cohorts for Vet Med with April and September starts respectively. Incidentally, a Nottingham vet qualifies as BVMedSci, BVM, BVS after five years.

That's a broad spread of subjects! Have you managed to keep going with your A2 work since 23 March?

Its been a bit of a struggle, I found it a lot easier when I was in school, but ultimately its going great. The only problem is i was super fixed on dropping english but theyve been really helpful, the most out of all of my subjects, with live lessons etc. School is a bit uncertain for September so now I dont know if I do want to drop it esp as im enjoying the a2 course so much

Might be best to wait until after 13 August before deciding, then? I don't know how you're getting on with the Bac, but is there a chance you could drop that instead?

unfortunately if I drop that, I dont get any qualification
The main reason I took it was for the research project in yr 13 as well, its like the EPQ

Im still debating,, keeping all five, because Bac finishes in Jan, or dropping English anyway :/
