I did GCSE exams in June and got my results couple days ago, so I'm not happy with my English result. I got a D for English but I needed C or higher. I will need to retake it but I am confused at some points.I did AQA GCSE English. If I retake English with same AQA board exam then do I need to do my courseworks again ( I did 4 writing courseworks and speaking & listtening). If I want to retake my GCSE English at different exam board like Edexcel or OCR then do i need to do my coursework again??
By the way, I took foundation papers last exam, so can i change to higher papers if i retake at AQA???

Your best bet is to talk to your English teacher/s and your examinations officer. Unless your CW grades were low and they brought down your grade, then the need to re-do them is unnecessary. You can re-take your AQA English Language and Literature Papers in November. To do this, you need to consult your EO.
I highly recommend that you do not change exam board. If you re-take AQA, you've already done two years worth of work and with good revision, you should be thoroughly prepared to do the exam again come November. However, if you change exam board, you will only have 3 months to learn the entire Edexcel/OCR specification.
I'm not sure. You should ask your teachers as they were the ones who entered you for the Foundation papers.
