Hey - great choice engineering is really in fashion right now within the Investment Banking Sector.

From traditional advisory roles to sales and trading as well as the more technical roles involving quantitative analysts and data scientist orientated analysts - there is definitely a role available for you. I would recommend that you take some time to reflect on the part of your course you enjoyed and then the work/life balance you want

different division cater to different aspects - do you code? do you like talking to people? Are you far more numbers orientated? Ive completed Spring and Internships at top banks ( happy to prove) so can help I'd recommend watching people like Afzal Hussein on youtube for generic tips and this dude for insight days - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDhHZKEYKBo

Russell group is fine - CV strength, networking ability, interview skill and experience matter more - would really recommend you attend virtual events to get more familiar
