So if i am doing an online course do i have to show proof such as a certificate when giving references for uni application.
I dont want to buy the certificate as its £40.

Sometimes they can ask for certificates but normally as long as you talk about what you learnt and understood from it it's fine.

I mean, it depends? If it's just a random course, probably not. However if you are claiming necessary certification, maybe?

Very unlikely you will need to. Plus, you could take a screenshot or photo you have done the course

Doesn't matter unless it is a qualification that you need to show proof of to meet your offer.

often you get an email through to say you’ve completes it for free, if you don’t buy the certificate
