    Oh hun, I think it'd take alot more than the founder of the thread to get someone of your articulate caliber and command of common sense; and one who held the ability to use words to convey thoughts and with that create a context in which others could think and rationalize into trouble; it's just how it is :yes:

    Good plan, but don't overdo it or he'll think you're not interested...first meeting after kissing is always so confusing :erm: Have you talked to him since it happened?

    Once lost but I was found,
    When I heard the stained glass shatter all around me,
    I sent the spirits tumbling down the hill,
    But I will hold this one on high above me still... :flute:

    Hmm. Have you any way to speak to him before the weekend? Might be easier to talk a bit first, make sure you're both comfy when you meet up :yes:

    That would be odd! I know, I haven't seen you in ages :jumphug: This must not happen again :hmmm:

    Incidentally, picking between Edinburgh and Glasgow should be fairly easy, unless they've changed their modus operandi in the last couple of years... Two important points; one, Edinburgh is really hot on Chemistry, so only take a chance on them if you're sure you'll do well in it (I doubt that'll be a problem for you, but thought I'd better mention it!). Secondly, Glasgow does PBL and Edinburgh is mainly lecture-based. You should pick the one you're most comfortable with, as Glasgow will give you the basic info through lectures but expect you to do a lot of the research yourself. You will learn as much through PBL, but if you're the type to get uncomfortable without a clear and set curriculum then go to Edinburgh. On the other hand, if you like working independently then Glasgow is a better bet :yes:

    Aberdeen and Dundee are both very good, although I don't know how to pick between them... I think if you go to St Andrews you transfer to Glasgow for clinical anyway, though again that may have changed :erm: If it's still working that way I'd be doubtful about going to St Andrews because of the change partway through the course; you'll meet people from lots of disciplines at uni and I imagine being moved away from some of your friends would be quite hard. Besides which, it's nice to get to know the place where you're studying and having to learn your way around when you're also dealing with third-year Med would just be horrific :p:

    This was a bit of a ramble, is any of it useful? :jumphug:

    ++++++Rep :hugs:

    I think I'd enjoy both to be very honest. Am pretty flexible when it comes to it.
    After putting everything into account, I still can't decide which 2 out of Aberdeen/Dundee/St.Andrews. Though I am really not liking St.Andrew's 3 years away. (especially since most are transfered to Manchester = fail). But my GP highly recommended St.Andrews and made a good point about it being exposed to a new surrounding.

    Thanks for the huge post :hugs:
