FC United of Manchester 3 - 4 Nantwich Town

FC United were poor tonight which sadly sees them exit the FA Cup at the First Qualifying Round for the second successive season

I never understood the whole FC United thing anyway tbh, whats wrong with Man United?

I can't help but laugh at those people who acted as if the Glazer family had taken a dump in their mouth when they bought United .... because success rules :woo:

Also, high ticket prices and games moved continually by television.

I was never a Man Utd fan myself, I agree with what the club said 4 years ago and continue to do so.

Quite frankly, they've doen well out of the deal. They haven't really affected anything on the field, they're still one of the richest clubs in the world, they're still winning endlessly...

They're not doing an Arsenal and being worried about backroom politics, they're not being torn about by the boardroom like the loony in Newcastle and they're not suffering from business partners hating each other like Liverpool...

Happens to every club in the Premiership that dares to do well though.

Was more of a shame for football when Wimbledon moved cities...

    Dunno, hence the question mark.

I'd just heard that were made to a lesser quality than brands over here...

The ticket prices at United are reasonable for a premiership team ... cheapest team in the top 4 on average as far as I know ... and the games being on television means you can save money by watching them at home. :p:

Yup, another thing I agreeagree with, was completely against that and still am to this day.

I follow AFC Wimbledon as well, got good links between the two clubs (FCUM being the other)

Never liked Franchise FC and never will.

Did you object to it becoming a PLC in the first place?

And there's none of the impulsive egomania like at Chelsea .... Glazer's never going to fire Alex Ferguson for losing a couple of games and disagreeing with him like Abramovich did to Mourinho and screwed the team up completely. :p:

I just don't like the fact that they moved about 80 miles from Wimbledon to Milton Keynes.

And, AFC Wimbledon are doing well in the Blue Square South so shall look forward to seeing them playing football league football in the next five years.
