I've never done anything interesting as far as I'm aware. I usually just walk around and mumble then go back to bed

I haven't had much sleepwalking, but my brother did hear us asking the time at about 1 in the morning (not sure why we were all up but he was asleep AND chose to ask a sleeping person of all people). He responded with 1893 or something. we said "not the year, the time" he responded with "oh. 1943" I think He was sleeping you know 🧐🤔🍣

dogs do, certain fish and dolphins are incapable of NOT sleepwalking (they use half their brain to keep out of danger while sleeping (not sure how up to date that info is)) and the same applies to a lot of animals.
humans sleepwalk due to a missing chemical or brain segment or something which causes your body to relax completely. the absence of the same thing is what causes sleep paralysis. This can be a pretty permanent situation or just an occasional thing. information was gathered from random vsauce videos watched years ago.

edit: I explained this pretty badly. the chemical causes you to relax. the absence causes you to enact your dreams. the presence at the wrong times can result in sleep paralysis.
