hey... in my a levels i got BBDc. i needed ABB for uni so i hav decided to take the year out. the subjects are business, computing, maths and psychology

as you can see from the results, i need to improve my a level maths and my business can easily be improved to an A.

WELL, when i went to a college today to enrol, the maths tutor was ok wid me doin the full a level but on paper it wud be simply A2 maths as the lse wont fund the AS maths. when i went to enrol for the business retake, the tutor refused me any access to the college and said if i wanted to study there, i would have to pay as i would be a part time student with the maths and the lse will not be able to fund me doing business as i already have a grade B in it. when the tutor spoke to the principal, she said you cannot do AS & A2 in one year.. and i would have to pay for the feees.

i am left quite confused and really dont know what to do. I am 18 . when i suggested picking up AS's , this was dismissed. the college i went to was the only one that did my exam board for maths.. advice appreciated.. will I be able to get any funding for studying or part time or can the local council permit me to studyin the full a level at the college?
