    Sell anything you don't want!

Buy things cheaply then sell them on for more.

Take part in paid surverys (be prepared to spend alot of time doing this before the money comes in though!)

babysit - yes I know, it's not a good job; but you get excellent pay from high class families , and as an additional to put on your work experience! usually it's only for a few hours, and you can bring your mobile phone/ipod/laptop so you won't get bored.

look through your attic and see if there are any antique pieces/expensive jewellery, and sell them to your nearest antique shop/jeweller's - easy money that way, and you never know, your chair could be worth £1000s as Henry VIII owned it!

Honestly, serious money to be made from your old junk!

Bar work Come on! Every student's dream - getting paid to work at a club/bar! What more could you want? (You never know you could get free drinks!)

Ring up the local council and place an ad,
    look through your local newpaper/publication,
make little flyers (on cheap paper) and give them out at your local primary schools/day care centres

I don't advise knocking on doors though.
