Just thought I’d share with you some of the social things you can do around the area- social distanced and situation permitting!
First off... you’ll enjoy the social side at LSBU! The SU is pretty good and has loads of events!
Check out the local venues like Mercato Metropolitano which is a huge food market literally two minutes from LSBU elephant and castle campus, Borough Market is literally 10 minute walk away and is fab for foodies (there used to be a guy who sold raspberries and blueberry punnets for 50p... not sure if he’s still there!).
Ministry of sound club right round the corner, and the Elephant Pub usually has quite a lively music scene downstairs if that’s your thing (rather than a crowded Club!), Dover (literally was the student pub everybody went to on Borough High Street!) and Belushi’s for Kareoke!
There’s also the southbank centre, national theatre, royal festival hall and old vic theatres if you like the arts and creative things!
Enjoy your time at LSBU - make it what you want
