Accommodation near University of Glasgow

Hi,
I am looking forward for a decent accommodation near University of Glasgow, can someone share some reliable wesbites where I can rent a room from? Also, how reliable are the properties on spareroom.co.uk?
Hey in terms of private halls nearby to the university there are plenty. Here are a few:

They generally have studios and rooms in flats that are shared with 5 or so people.
The ones I've listed are all probably about a 15 minute walk from uni and are in and around the Partick area which has good transport links (bus station, subway station, train station) and shopping facilities. Also there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby.
I've never used spareroom.co.uk so can't help there unfortunately but on the University of Glasgow Community Facebook page, sometimes people use it to find someone to take over a room in their flat.
