I’ve applied for a masters and my award email has been sent as a pdf but my uni can’t issue transcripts electronically so I just had to screenshot all my module grades as a photo. Will they be open to read this?

The admissions pages should give you a list of allowed document formats, best to make sure anything you upload is ONLY in allowed file types. Yes, any academic can read a Jpeg of a screen shot, but the paperwork needs to get past the admin "gatekeepers" first, so if it says PDF only then find a way of getting the transcript into that format. Lots of ways of doing this, e.g. embed in a word document then save as PDF, print to PDF etc.
