Hey guys! Hope you’re all good. I’m currently in Year 12 studying AQA A level Spanish and I was wondering if anyone has any resources or revision guides they’d recommend for this course. I’ve tried looking on Amazon, but so far, I haven’t found anything useful. I mainly want to use it as a revision tool to help studying the themes. Any advice and recommendations? Thanks in advance x

For language alevels there is this book called word for word (translated into whatever language u r doing idk what it is in Spanish I did German) but it has loads of helpful Vocab outside of the textbook but on topics from AQA so if u wanna learn some extra words this is a good book, my school gave it to me but I have bought my own copy for uni as the lists of useful words r so extensive

The Spanish version is called Palabra por Palabra. While of decent quality for the first year of A level (AS), probably not the best for the second year. It's definitely great help with setting up a good foundation for vocabulary when transitioning into A level from GCSE. :rambo:

A few years ago, I made a comprehensive thread on the Scottish equivalent of A level Spanish. Although it might not be directly relevant to your course, I hope that it might still be of some use to you (especially the document I made with excellent writing/speaking phrases): https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/sho....php?t=2320896

If you use the phrases correctly, there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't get full marks for every single piece of speaking and writing that you do (assuming your grammar and content is of equally high standard).

Higher Spanish = AS
Advanced Higher Spanish = A2
