Are we allowed these in our rooms (Leodis) and if so, do you have any ideas what ones to buy.

You're allowed a mini fridge. Cant see why you wouldnt be allowed a coffe maker. Ive been looking to get a mini fridge myself, but Ive no idea if they would actually be any good?

I've got a nice mini-fridge winging its way to me via ebay I don't drink coffee, but I'm hoping no one will complain about the kettle I plan to have in my room. Almost no point in the fridge otherwise!!

That's the mini fridge I had throughout my first year and it did the job very well . It wasn't exactly big but you could fit 3 medium sized yoghurts on top of each other and a 500ml drink carton (That's pretty much all I used it for, it was a xmas present but I was thinking of getting one myself )

I got a nice cheap mini fridge from Woolworths I think. Was in the sale though, so probably sold out now. It has a hot and cold setting, which is handy for either keeping my milk cold for my midnight picnic, or for keeping my indian warm when my mother refuses to put down the phone. :P

But you should be allowed both. If you are likely to use them both religiously, and you think they are worth the money you are paying, why not?

And if you don't use the coffee marker, i'm sure everybody else in your flat will. :P
