Depends on the age really. 20 and 24? Fine. 20 and 16 however is creepy. Even if it’s the same 4 year gap

General rule - it’s not weird if you divide your age by 2 and then add 7

It doesn’t always work out, though. I’m 20, and I’m not sure I’d be comfortable with a 17-year-old...!

If you are over 16, nothing illegal is going on and both of you are happy- date who you want.
I only date guys older than me, usually with an age gap of 15+ years and have done so since I started dating at 16.
Relationship compatibility is usually based upon personality, values and choices.

Some people are hostile towards age gaps of more than 1-2 years.
Other people don't mind as long as there is less than a decade difference in ages and many others mind their own business with no desire to offer commentaries on other people's love lives.

The older you are, the less the difference matters. Just make sure an underage person below 16 isn’t dating a person above 16

Just make sure that all the guys you date are honest, law abiding and be willing to end the relationship if a bf does not listen when you say 'no' or puts pressure on you to do anything that you feel uncomfortable with.
When I was 16, I dated guys in their 30s and one in his 50s, dumping the bf as soon as I realised that I was fed up or we were not compatible.
