I am interested in taking AQA Religious Studies at AS level but my college states it is very discussion based, presentational based and small group tasked based. The thing is I have no confidence and dislike speaking to people, speaking aloud or doing presentations.
Would you advise not to take it? I am very interested in the subject but this is ruining it for me.

RS AS is very very different to GCSE AS. It's more philosophy based, so less religion and more philosophy. I assume you knew that already though right? [I don't take RS btw, just a few friends of mine do]
If you're interested in the subject, then why not take it? Honestly though, even if your confidence doesn't go up, I'm sure it wont be that bad. Plus, depending on what you wanna do at university, your gonna be in contact with quite a lot of people and you may need to work in groups at uni, so you might as well begin at college

I say go for it too, perfect time to build your confidence up. You can get really stuck into RS, esp philosophy side to it, so if you're interested in it already you might find your debating just comes naturally. Well, it worked for me
