I'm worried that I won't be surrounded by like-minded people as far as nights out go... Can anyone address the rumours about Durham being boring as far as this is concerned?

Hello. When you say like-minded, what do you mean? Would I say it's boring...yes and no. It really depends what you like and what you're used to. I foumd it quie boring at times but not always because there was nothing to do. More because I didn't really want to or have the time to do the things on offer. The uni itself isn;t boring as it has things going on all the time if you get involved. The city is gorgeous, but long and short, yes, I find it boring.
