What do you mean by overthinking about someone? Are you talking about how to manage personal stress while teaching / learning?

Elaborate? Either way, it's just an exchange of your time for money. You just have to remember that, stay professional and sort your personal issues out in your personal time.

If you're unable to, then just take time off as illness/sick leave.
