Hospital management

How do you get into hospital management?:
- Do you need an MBCHB?
- Salary?
- Worklife balance?
- What does the job entail?
- Where can I find more info about this?

Thank you so much in advance

Considering you are asking what it entails suggests this is a bit of a sporadic career option for you! It depends what you mean by hospital management - private hospitals/care homes or the NHS hospital trusts? The NHS offers a graduate scheme where graduates from all fields are recruited solely for non-medical 'managerial' or administrative roles. You won't need any medical qualifications for that (as far as I'm aware) and the work is fairly standard administrative tasks alike most offices. It'll more than likely be your typical public sector 36-40 hr working week, with 9-5 office hours.
