Sorry I'm making some assumption here, correct me if I'm wrong.

Your aim is to become a pilot, you're looking at studying Lvl 4 T&T and you want to know if to become a pilot, you require a degree?

I guess the next question is what type of pilot do you want to be? There are a fair few options. Commercial? Military? Leisure?

Knowing the answer to the above question will help clarify. Again, I am assuming you want to go into commercial flying.

It's an expensive route, you don't necessarily need a degree but from my experience travel ad tourism, while it may be good, doesn't feed directly into becoming a pilot. What I'd say is if that is what you want to do, great, go and do it! Yes, you can start studying to be a pilot afterwards.
