Lancaster University Clearing and Adjustment 2020

Hi everyone :wavey:
If you haven't secured a university offer, or you're reconsidering your options, we're ready to help you find out about applying to Lancaster through Clearing.

If you already have your results, you can check our course list and complete a Clearing application right now.

If you're waiting for your results, you can complete our keep in touch form, and we'll keep you updated ready for main Clearing and Adjustment to open on 13 August.

We're also running a number of Clearing webinars to help you get prepared. And you can also find out how we're preparing for the new term on our Covid-19 pages.

Please let us know if there's anything you need help with, and best of luck for your results :goodluck:

UPDATE 17/8/20
We are aware of the announcement from the UK government, as well as the recent announcements from the Scottish and Welsh governments, in regards to Scottish Highers and A level results.

As soon as we have details of this afternoon's announcement we will advise you of the process you will need to follow.

If you have received an offer from us through Clearing, please be assured that your place is secure and we are looking forward to welcoming you to Lancaster University.

Good morning everyone, and good luck with your results.

Our Clearing vacancies are live and we're ready to chat to you here for whatever you need today.
Unfortunately are not able to offer any places for Medicine and Surgery in Clearing or Adjustment this year, but we do have many other courses available at the moment.
We also have 50 students ready on our unibuddy channel to talk with you about courses, student life and anything else.
We're here to help, just ask

Can you keep this forum updated for when courses are full?

We will certainly update when we come out of Clearing, and if we have any major updates, but we might not be able to update when individual courses close, it can happen very quickly.
Our Course List is always up to date, and that's the best place to check.
Good luck with finding a course.

Im currently on a gap year so I have actual A levels but i got BBC and need BBB with 2 of my A levels being 1 mark off the next grade meaning im 1 mark off ABB with my other A level being 2 marks off. Based off of past admissions is there any chance of me getting a spot based off of this? I also recieved 7 A*s at GCSEs. Thanks.

Which course are you looking at? And are you looking for admission in 2020 or 2021?

compsci and 2020

Hi @Manlikeytu,
You can see our clearing courses here, we're asking for BBB for CompSci.
I'd recommend sending an enquiry form by clicking 'apply online now'. That way someone from admissions will assess your grades and decide on giving a place.
Does this make sense?
Let me know if you need help.

Hi Anon,
First of all, have a look in clearing to check if the course you're interested in is available and if you meet the requirements - you can look for it here.
You need to register for adjustment through UCAS (which you can do since you exceeded your offer).
You can then apply for adjustment - there's more details on this page.
Hope this makes sense and let me know if I can help you with anything.

Makes sense and I have done. Just wanted to know what my chances were as I am 1 grade off but by 1 mark. Thanks.

It's hard for us TSR to say as we're not making these decisions. However, admissions will consider your application fully and will be doing their best to offer places where they can.

Hi! I'm not sure if you'd know, but have you any idea how long it may take for courses to make a decision on clearing applications? It is for social work and sociology if that would make any difference. thank you!

Also, I just wanted to make sure, applying online is the only way to apply for clearing this year right? There's no number to call to apply? TYIA
