Does anyone have advice for making friends when staying in University accommodation? I'm moving in September and really nervous.

Be friendly, helpful, reliable and considerate about noise levels.
Being able to cook, bake, make cocktails & mocktails plus know some effective hangover cures will make you very popular with other students.
But never lend anybody money that you need to be repaid and don't volunteer to do anybody else's cleaning- word gets round very fast.
