Here's my take:

Ben Sherman
Ted Baker
Paul Smith
All are a bit "mayhem at the kebab van with the beer boys" for me

La Coste - Because all the people I've known who've liked this label have had a superiority complex

Ralph Loren/Tommy Hilfiger
Too casual

(I don't hate all labels - ones I do like include Versace, Boateng and Duchamp. Affording them is another question. :o: ).

What about you?

'Henleys' is the ugliest brand I've ever seen in my life. I can cope with most clothes on people (not on myself) but that's the one that stands out. People don't realise they look like **** juggling, thunder ***** with something like that on.

I actually think some of Ted Baker and Paul Smith's stuff is quite nice. I'd definitely say Lambretta and Ben Sherman were footy hooligans though. Some of Fred Perry/Lacoste too, but it depends on what. Their polo t-shirts are quite nice.

I'd agree about the Tommy Hilfiger about being too casual, along with Gap. They are just boring/safe.

Topman gets right on my tits though, generally crap designs, mass manufactured, and actually really poor quality considering the price.

Other brands I hate are Helly Hanson and Bench, really chavvy. Anything that encourages people to wear their collars up I am sceptical about.

KSwiss actually an old brand but then got reinvented as a rip-off to Adidas I hate it all the gimmicks, tongue twisters and all that.

G-Star Raw - before it got big did some nice jeans and now I wouldn't be caught dead wearing it as it brings about negative connotations of gangsterisms.

Duchamp
is the stuffs by the way. I met a representative from there he was uber cool. Rox my sox.

I hate seeing people who think they're fashionable, but are wearing a Topman hoodie.

Makes me cry and laugh at the same time

As I said, Versace, Boateng and Duchamp. However, I tend to go for the stuff that's well-made and doesn't advertise the label (hence why I tend not to go for casual items of clothing made by a label as they tend to cost a fortune, advertise the brand (at the expense of being a nice piece of clothing) yet is not made to last.)

Jack Wills.

Although I like the style you can find better quality clothing for less money and equally well/better branded.
