Too many heterosexual adverts

I'm a gay guy and while watching the television today, the adverts came on and the one thing I realised was there are too many heterosexual dating adverts and others where two straight couples feature on. But there are hardly any lgbt adverts. Why is this?

probably a TV channel. It is a bit annoying there aren't many lgbt adverts but I personally don't believe it's worth being offended over but you do you

what do you mean you want to write to someone?
Do you expect Ofxom to walk around telling companies they must spend their hard earned cash advertising gay adverts because you are "offended?"
Quite simply if there was money to be had advertising gay sites you'd see more advertisements.
Most normal sites have a gay option, and the amount of gay people compared with straight is tiny, meaning less profits from advertising a gay site as it's niche.

most people are heterosexual, that's why
i'm actually quite happy with our representation now, i keep finding netflix shows with lgbt couples - which aren't specifically lgbt shows, just normal popular shows like black spot, snowpiercer etc
