I personally use Windows Defender on my system as it just gets out of the way unlike some others, is fairly effective, and comes bundled in free with Windows 10. A good alternative that I've used in the past would be Avast, however with good practices Windows Defender should be enough. Regardless of which you choose, I'd recommend pairing it with regular scans with Malwarebytes as this is a proper antimalware product that has much better definitions than even the best AVs.

My university gives us a free subscription of Sophos Endpoint, which has proven effective.

I use Bitdefender Antivirus Plus.
Are you happy with it? I have read a few reviews on this and it says it has quite a few glitches /quirks. Is that right?

Avast - best AV IMO (and it's free!). Tries to sell you a lot of useless add-ons which aren't necessary but it covers everything really very well.

 Yeah you are, I use the VPN to access sites which I couldn't with a UK ip I said it as another feature funny how you keep editing all of your posts  also it shows how fragile you are reporting my post for insults lmao.

So answer the question: Did I ever say you need a VPN to not get hacked?
