I can imagine there are quite a few Oxbridge rejects with chips on their shoulders at a lot of top 10 Universities, but as an impending Bristol student, I can tell you I definitely didn't get rejected from Oxbridge, or even apply - I applied to Bristol for its own merits :p:
Mind you, you'd be surprised at the amount of Rahs at Oxford Brookes.
    It's actually unbearable

All places will have their rah contingent, however, as a logical rule the unis with the most private school students and the most middle class will be the snobbiest - therefore to mention a few - London, Bristol, Durham, Edinburgh, Nottingham and St Andrews will probably be the snobbiest

Alright, I knew that Durham has a deserved bad reputation because I visited it myself and my teacher (who went there) didn't have the greatest opinion of the so called 'rahs' to say the least.

I'm thinking about going to KCL, UCL, Birmingham University, Nottingham or Leeds (any particular thoughts on these cities/universities?)
Either KCL or UCL I would say. London rocks! ( providing you don't get stabbed)

Really? I guess it's just so they can tell people that they study at Oxford -- without altogether lying.

The same thing happened to me at the University of East London, it was soul-destroying.
