Is the question 'To what extent should traditional medicine be an alternative to modern medicine today?” too broad and how can I narrow it down?

Thanks,

i would narrow it down to traditional medicine for a particular location maybe? because English traditional medicine is gonna be very different from Chinese traditional medicine and also the two are perceived very differently by their respective countries (as an example) or you could pick a field of medicine aka should people be allowed to use trad medicine to treat cancer but the answer is clearly gonna be no so maybe not that one
