Accounting Apprenticeship

I have found an accountancy apprenticeship just had an interview with them the place is small but on a busy high street and does't seem like they will have high volume of calls by the looks of it (just an assumption). Do you think i should still do it or finish my last year of college? Pay is Minimum wage for Apprentice.
If you want to become a chartered accountant, I'd recommend sticking with A-Levels first and doing an apprenticeship or university afterwards.
Should have been more clear, Apologies.
I am currently studying AAT Level 2 and has finished this summer and this apprenticeship will qualify me at Level 3 AAT at the end. Is this still worth doing or not?
I did my apprenticeship in a small accounting firm on the main high street - don't really know why volume of calls affects anything?Either way, I personally think starting at a smaller firm is better because they give you experience in all types of areas so that once you're qualified you have a range of experience and know what you like/dislike so when you move to a bigger firm and have to specialise in something you know what you want to do. I've done audits, business valuations, tax, annual accounts and have started up a forensic accounting department.I also started on minimum wage (less than £3 at the time) which ill be the case for many smaller firms however usually at each level you get a pay rise and you have experience if you wish to transfer to a bigger firm for more money. My friend went to a bigger firm to follow the money and lasted about 2 months because of the longer hours and higher workload which isn't ideal for when you're starting out.
Update: I have decided to go with the apprenticeship, Thanks to yous. I start tomorrow.
