Hey, I waited 18 years before I first came across someone interested in me. Don't sweat it. ^^

    Its good to be fussy.

Plus are you going out any less? That might have something to do with it?

how do you expect to meet people if you dont go out? increase thy exposure to the opposite sex, good things shall cometh (pun entirely intended)

Women don't tend to ask out men as often. So, never. Nothing wrong with that.

I think it's probably better to find the right person before making a move.

Then again, i've never bothered to ask anyone out. Probably should though...

Ita vero. I mean...how exactly does one react? Ah well, if I WAS gay I'd probably be more lucky in romance. :woo: :yep:

thanks for the reassurance and just for the record, you're very pretty & 18! pfff i hadn't even had a boyfriend till then so i think it's very likely you'll meet someone too!

I've been a LONG time without a boyfriend, so don't worry, you're not abnormal at all! What I've sort of come to realise is that this massive dry-spell has been really good for me, because it's given me time to work out who I am and all that without the distraction of a guy. Though it would be nice to have a new boyfriend (though I doubt I'll find one any time soon), it's also quite nice having a lot of freedom.

I wouldn't worry if I were you, someone will come along sooner or later, it doesn't matter whether or not you're socialising like a maniac or not, I think it's very likely that you'll find someone (or that someone will find you!). In the meantime, enjoy your freedom while it lasts

Yeah have had dry spells before, am having one at the moment. There is this guy who likes me but he can't ask me out as I have a boyfriend.

Normally after a dry spell I get several guys asking me out within a very short period of time. Its a strange thing.

Once but it ended in sex so that was good. Apart from that it's allways me doing the asking untill I get bored with the inevitable rejections(althougth it's far worse when you get given the number a keep geing lots of not so subtle hints not to call, why cant people just be hounest and tell you to sod off or say yes insted of this weird combanation of both?)

well I had like a childhood gf then moved to wales.. where because I was english I was hated ny everyone really.. lol.. so I never had any gf's until like year 9 then I had a bit of a dry patch until year 11.. then I moved back to england where I had a string of gf's that lasted like 3 years really.. I loved it.. but now Im feling a bit of a dry stage coming on again.. I got askd out by a girl like a few weeks ago, but I turned it down.. L.D.R. ya see.. so I guess its no abnormal for anyone not to have a partner at all really.. I mean I have a freind who hasnt ever had a gf before.. and loads that have only had like 2 in their whol life..

erm if you can approach a few guys you like.. may help a bit.. dunno.. I try to change myself very slightly to get a bit of attention usually.. maybe try this..

The more you go out the more chance you have of meeting someone cool though, surely. I had that during freshers too! not illness just bizarre mood swings induced by lack of sleep, too much alcohol and too much fun :woo:

In answer to your question, its very rare, and normally only by girls i dont like. If i like a girl i iz teh man and i make my intentions obvious, i wouldnt dream of waiting for a girl to ask ME out, hopefully most guys on here are the same (if not then they should be)
