Does anyone know the best universities to study Primary education with QTS? I’m about to go into year 13 and need to seriously start looking so any help would be appreciated

There is a lot of choice - ones I know are good are places like Oxford Brookes, Edge Hill, Winchester, Chichester ... maybe choose one near where you want to work?

Thank you, I’ll look into them. If I’m honest, I’m not fussed where the university is because I don’t live local enough to anywhere so I have to move away from home. I’m also not sure where I want to be based and don’t have a preference 😊

These are newer unis - they started 'life' as teacher training places [or parts if them did]. Look for somewhere you'd like to explore then

Hey L1vvy!

We have Primary Teaching with QTS where you're able to pick a subject specialism, we lots of partner schools in the local area where our university and students have an excellent reputation for teacher training (our teacher training dates back to 1839!) making it very easy to find placements and local to the university campus

We are based on the sunny south coast of England (the sunniest place in the UK) with the beach being 915 steps away from our Bognor Regis campus!

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask us! We have our Virtual Open Day website still running for you to find out more about the courses available, see virtual campus tours and find out what Chichester has to offer: https://openday.chi.ac.uk/
