Where can it take me?

Hi

If i do a computing and software degree. Will i still be able to get on a pcge if i wanted too? Also what kind of job could i be looking to apply for when the degree is finished? I keep looking and seems computing is the degree to get for different job prospects (rather than biology?!) as i was tempted to do that but would mean trying to break into a lab job at 40+... I believe i would find biology more interesting but no good if it wouldn't be useful to me.. What are others experiences please?

It depends what you want to teach. If you want to teach at secondary level, your degree should be in, or relevant to, the subject you want to teach.

Yeah i am thinking primary teaching, ok so if i do a biology degree i will be eligible to teach secondary science after a pcge?
