Hi!

I've just finished my first year at LSE. I may need to transfer or even drop out of LSE either this year or next year due to very unfortunate personal reasons. Before I have to make that decision, (which hopefully won't happen fingers crossed!) I wanted to ask if LSE will award a CertHE or DipHE for either 1 or 2 years of study, if I do end up leaving before the full degree.

Thank you

O have had a reasonable look and just cnat see it in the regulations.
Normally I would expect CertHE and DopHE to be discusssed and when they are awarded.
I could not find this mentioned in either

https://info.lse.ac.uk/staff/divisio...es-2018-19.pdf
https://info.lse.ac.uk/Staff/Divisio...OfLaws2019.pdf

The emphasis is all on completing the degree.

There is something possibly relevant hinted at in paragraph 45 here.

I think you need to speak to academic registry i.e the people in charge of exams. They should be the quickest in getting an answer to you as they know the regs. You just ask them if you had to drop out or could resume then would you get a lesser qualification. It is normal for this to happen, but I cnat see LSE mention it.
