RAF OASC Medical

Hi,

I was just wondering if anybody on here has recently done their 2nd RAF Medical (After the 1 day OASC), preferably for the role of WSOp, and could tell me exactly what it is made up of and any specific tests that you undergo.

Many Thanks,
Owen
For the Pilot (Aircrew) medical, it was done with the Medical Department at OASC and consisted of body measurements/anthropometrics taken (height, weight, then specific limb measurements in a special measurement chair, such as sitting height, functional reach etc.) for the ejection seat limits, an ECG and a blood test, a hearing test, an in-depth eye test with an optometrist, and then a final chat with a doctor to go through medical reports and the outcome of the medical. I think that's everything, although I may have missed something!

As WSOp is aircrew I believe you'll do most (if not all) of the tests, but again I could be wrong.
As above with the addition of lung spirometry, urine test, brief physical examination.

That’s all I can recall.
