Also, your results slip isn't the final certificate! You get those in October.


Generally November - certificates often don't arrive in schools until the very end of October and they take some sorting out before they can be handed out.

Candidate numbers are only ever 4 digits long, e.g. 1234
ULN: used in the UK to store all your educational records but only allocated to students who have attended a state school past the age of 13.
UCI - used to identify you uniquely for all GCSE and A level qualifications and is of the form 222220181234A (I could explain what it all means if you really wanted)
