What do you do when you start to feel anxious?

I only feel anxious in certain situations e.g meeting a boy or overthinking talking to a boy. The anxiety really consumes me, I can’t sleep I get a funny feeling in my chest and it just makes my tummy heart and I get stressed. What are ways to deal with this?

when I get anxious I try to slow my breathing down and breathe deeply in and out and that usually helps

Tell yourself that the anxiety will be gone soon, it's never a prolonged state. Keep that in mind. My therapist drilled that into me and it eases the situation
