What is it? I know everyone wants to say the typical "Doctor", but otherwise what other careers are rewarding.

I really want a rewarding career, prefarably away from sciences, a job where you feel you are helping people and where you get that warm fuzzy feeling at the end of the day.

Teaching.
Agreed- a real hands on career, I want to teach (maybe).

... Maybe should have chose a better phrase than "hands on" :ninja:

I guess it depends on who you want to help (disabled people/children/animals/environment) and what field you are interested in.

Depends on what you personally enjoy and benefit from I would say.

Personally, I want to be a human rights barrister.

The most rewarding career is one that you enjoy to no end and one in which you strive to do your best at all times.

OK there are some great opportunities to teach or even build in orphanages all around the third world.
Lots of them are voluntary though, unless you tried UK.
My mates mum is working as a counsellor in a woman's refuge, which sounds reeaally rewarding. So maybe something like that? Or you could always work in a children's home
