I will be missing waking up late everyday without having to hear my alarm ( + sleeping in the day and awake at the night).

TBH there was/is a lot already out there before Covid.
Fair enough, but a lot of ones i was interested were usually held in person so doing it at home saved loads of time and energy

I feel that when the lockdown ends, people will return to normal and abandon this website.

I think you’re underestimating the pull of this website

The bonding I have had with my family, pets and local wildlife. I've had lots of time to explore the forest and provide data and entomology species analysis worldwide. I never appreciated how incredible my forest is and I am really going to miss exploring it every day
Why can't you continue to do that after the lockdown ends?

I will be, but not on the same scale. The projects I took part in only usually run in California but due to lockdown they had to run it virtually, opening up to everyone globally. I'll also be applying for several leadership roles as I go into sixth form so whilst balancing this and a rather heavy selection of A levels so I will be much busier and won't be able to do this as much. Furthermore, lots of wildlife appearing over lockdown will be pushed further into the forest as human activity raises to much higher levels, making observations more scarce.
