CV covering letter help, silly question PLEASE Watch

when i hand my CV and Cover letter somewhere, shall i just hand it in as it is

or put it in an envolope, i only have, standard envolopes and thta,

or i could put them in aplastic wallet or something,

or would they be ok in a small (25% of a4) envolope, the size you get throught eh post usually for standard letters :rolleyes:

don't fold it!
And use a paper clip to hold the sheets together
Don't think you'd need an envelope, I'd porbably go for a plastic wallet.

I used to put them in A4 envelopes and hand them in personally addressed to the company name and then 'Personnel Department'.. But I ran out of A4 envelopes.. So now I'm using the standard envelopes and having to fold up my CVs/Cover Letters/Application Forms.
