Part time job for a uni student with bad social anxiety

What’s a good part time job for a student with social anxiety ?? Retail is terrifying for me and I wouldn’t be able to do it . Any suggestions ??

Writing? Warehouses? Delivery?
A lot of retail jobs in large stores involve more stacking than anything.
Your university may have jobs available for students, such as traffic management or administration, that could have limited socialisation.

But try and focus on the money, people will be there no matter what job and really they don’t matter, as long as you do your job then their opinions are irrelevant

Hey,

The few jobs I can think of that have minimal social interaction or don't need one to deal directly with customers are warehouse jobs, kitchen jobs, factory work and stock taking.

Hope this helps

If you can't handle the social interaction required for working at a supermarket then you should see a counsellor as that's going to have a massive impact on your future life, most unis will have them available.
Hi @Anonymous
I suggest checking your universities job site to see what’s available. At Lancaster job site they offer many jobs for students on and off campus and different ones to suit different kinds of people. For example I’m a student ambassador because I like communicating with people but for someone like you catering work and other types of jobs with less social interaction might be something your interested in looking in.
Good look with your job search
