i'm starting year 13 in september and i'd like to have written up a draft of personal statement this summer. i want to study law at uni so if anyone has any recommendations for wider reading books about law or any podcasts i could listen to, please let me know

Lots of threads on here on similar questions
I listen to law in action podcasts by bbc which are quite accessible
Marcus cleaver podcasts are more in depth on specific Supreme Court decisions so may be too in-depth for a total beginner. But his videoes are cool!

In fact there is a BBC documentary on youtube about becoming a barrister, another one worth a watch

The prosecutors maybe?
Lord reiths lectures in podcast also interesting from 2018, lord sumpton did it.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00fm9gw it was the barristers. But the prosecutors was also good.
