Hi All,

I'm a career changer that is looking to qualify as a solicitor in the next few years.

I am in (non-legal) employment for the next three years and my initial plan was to study OU Law (graduate entry) part time over these three years, apply for a training contract and start the LPC as soon as I leave this job.

I have seen that the graduate entry route to becoming a solicitor will change in this timeframe to SQE1 and SQE2. With both routes an option, I'm really not sure what path to take.

Can anyone give me some advice in my specific situation which path to take with 3-years to go until I my current employment finishes?

Thanks!
