I doesn't sound normal at all. But then again, I don't know much about dogs...at all. If it was a human, however, it'd probably be due to malabsorption of fat..or something.

    Anyway, conclusion is...doesn't sound normal.

How long ago was it since you wormed your dog? Also, have you changed it's food or fed it something different that it does not normally have?

I'd always slightly hoped that it was spotted.

I've noticed that before but never when it was fresh. It only ever seems to be occassional poos that have been left lying around the garden for a while, especially when it had been hot recently. It never seems to have coincided with any problems though so I've never worried about it personally. I wouldn't stress about it if I were you.

Just what I was about to say. Where did it go? Back in the day you could always find an abundance of it littering the streets. It must be about 15 years since I last saw it.

    I miss it.

Apparently they removed a lot of calcium from dog food over the years...so dogs pass less calcium, hence, less white dog poo! :p:

No, I think it's more to do with the introduction of fines for dog owners that didn't pick up after them.
That white poo was dried poo, all flaky and stuff. Great for making potions with.

I'll second this! Not sure exactly if it's centered around calcium, but definetly to do with the changing nature of dog food over the years. There was a big discussion about it because it was brought up in a life on mars episode.
